  Stayed a couple of nights next door at the Premier Inn so ate here two evenings and also breakfast. The food is pretty decent, I had fish and chips one night which was well cooked and not dry as sometimes happens.
  Very friendly staff and a pleasant environment to eat. Menu has some nice varied choices.
  The only couple of bad points are:
  1. The plates and cutlery always seemed a bit grubby. I had to change my knife and fork both evenings as they had bits of crusted on food stuck to them. Plates looked a bit marked too.
  2. The staff were lovely but over-stretched. They all had to serve behind the bar, taking drinks and food orders, and also deliver from kitchen to the tables and collect dirty plates. This meant that if there was a busy spell as on one night, there were looooonnnnnngggggggg delays getting served. Bar staff and table service should be different staff.

  Just been to Beefeater for their superb Porterhouse steak with my mate prior to a cinema trip. The food is excellent, and Kerry R, our server was great - polite, attentive and very friendly. Highly recommend this place. Thanks for your great service Kerry! The Cinema boys.
